Chrissie Ward was born in New Zealand and returned there recently after living for twenty-three years in Britain.  She began writing fiction while in the Shetland Isles, off the north coast of Scotland, as a way of occupying the long, dark winter days.  Her short stories have been published in anthologies and magazines in Britain and New Zealand. Her second story on GoodGoshAlmighty.com, "The Big Chance", has been broadcast on New Zealand National Radio.
