Lisa Zhito was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, but moved to Nashville in 1986, where she worked at an entertainment industry trade paper for close to 10 years.  She has worked as a freelance entertainment writer since 1995, covering such events as the Grammy Awards and the all-star Pavarotti & Friends concert in Modena, Italy. As a photographer, Zhito has spent many  a weekend prowling the nooks and crannies of Nashville and the surrounding area, photographing the people and places that make Music City unique.  She and her husband Joe Baker live in Nashville with their six cats and two dogs.
