E. LaVeck was born and raised in the Great Lakes region, fostering a
lifelong love-hate relationship with the quirks and downfalls of the area, which
pop up frequently in her work. Inspiration also stems from her voracious
passion for words, rock and roll and pop culture. Her work has been
