FOOD We'll all be pushing up daisies before Al Gore's "Truth" is proved fact or fiction, but going green is smart even for Redstaters. POETRY Robert Penn Warren, leading light of the Southern Agrarian literary movement in the 1930s, was barely 40 when he wrote All the King's Men, a Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and of course, a hard act to follow. But he lived another forty-some years, concentrating more on poetry, and won not just one, but two more Pulitzers! - a unique achievement in two genres. His connection to the land is strongly, concisely typified in "Evening Hawk". |

PROSE Ok, George Orwell's book Animal Farm and actual farming are related only by his allegorical use of animals.
